Procrastination. When one does last things first. When leisure comes first, then work (if it comes at all). When checking Instagram is the most cherished routine. When browsing Youtube for self-help is the most productive routine.

We consume emptiness. Because we are empty. There is nothing real in our life. There is nothing real in ourselves. What follows is the bitter confusion and hopelessness…

What we consume is not even toxic. It is just empty placebo. A placebo for the pain of emptiness.

What to do?

It is difficult to change these empty routines. They are hard-stoned in our daily lives. But it is possible. It takes very small steps but every day.

Do first things first (Steven Covey). And life will sort-out itself. ❤️

It does not matter.

Brain does not know the difference between what is “real” and what is illusionary. Therefore, a saying “choose your thoughts” quiet practically valid.

Help your brain to rest from toxis thoughts you are feeding it with.

Help your brain feel freedom from that which does not exist.

Each person is a creative being. We have very curios brain, capable of any form of creativity. Someone has creative brain for cooking, one for writing, one for abstraction, one for calculating, one for planning, one for building, one for stiching, one for drawing, one for communicating and so on.

What all these brains have in common?

It is a Joy. Joy from bringing something into existence.

What else these brains have in common?

It is a Fear. Fear of judgment. Fear of silent neglect. Fear of inferioritization. Fear of ridicule. Fear of ignorance.

To bring something beautiful into existence OR let it be buried under a Burden of Fear…?

Acknowledge the Fear, but focus on Creating.

Today I made another mind-mapping. Just wrote down on sticky notes what I want to do, and why I am not doing it.

Once I laid those sticky notes in front of me, undescribable clarity emerged.

Clarity of my goal. And…clarity of my fear.

We hear often: “do not focus on your Fear, focus on your Goal”. But, no. Focus on your Fear. Write it down. Accept its existence. Acknowledge it. It is there. Ignoring it is fatal for your realisation of your Goal.

This word — “hard work” — carries too many heavy emotions. It already implies to the brain that something is going to be hard. No surprise, our brain automatically avoids it.

I prefer to use the word “nourish”.

I am nourishing myself by working out. I am nourishing myself by learning another language. I am nourishing myself by reading articles related to my occupation. I am nourishing myself by living in a clean & tidy apartment. I am nourishing myself by sorting out administrative errands (mails, tax documents, etc.). I am nourishing myself by helping people who need my help.

I deserve to be my Best. Therefore I nourish myself by my own actions.
